Yoga Styles

Hatha

Move the body in a gentle way, gradually building upon the previous posture (Asana). Encourage the body to become self aware by using movement or posture repetitions. Explore each asana through grounding and pausing in the posture for several breaths to feel how it can support stability and strength in the body. Feel the stretches in supine, seated, kneeling, standing, balancing postures, as well as back bends, inversions and twists. Use some breathing techniques (Pranayama) to facilitate deeper release. After creating some energy, reward the body with a deep relaxation.

Suitable for all levels (beginners and those with previous yoga experience).

Slow Hatha Flow

Move more fluidly and dynamically, using the breath and belly muscles to support the continuous flow of the body. Focus on body balancing, strengthening and creating warmth within the body. Awaken the inner fire (Agni), you will feel the energy (Prana) flowing through the whole body. Finish the practice by relaxing deeply.

Suitable for those who have some yoga experience and feel confident in their body capability.

Restorative

Slow down the body and all mind activity. Focus on stillness and just being with your Self. Use a range of props (bolsters, blocks, straps, blankets, chairs) to create full comfort for the body. All that is required during the practice is to let go and relax completely in each posture for 7-8 minutes.

Suitable for all levels (beginners and those with previous yoga experience).

Ideal for beginners or those with limited mobility or injuries.

Yin

Deep tissue stretches that nourish the body and mind, promoting a deep release of the muscles, ligaments and fascia by staying in each posture for 3-5 minutes. Use a range of props (bolsters, blocks, straps, blankets) to support the body.

Suitable for all levels (beginners and those with previous yoga experience).

Yoga Nidra

This the deep conscious yogic sleep. Yoga Nidra is the practice to reach the state of deep relaxation which takes your consciousness to a new level. Experience this unique way of recharging and storing energy through silence, stillness and shifting your awareness through each part of the body.

Suitable for all levels (beginners and those with previous yoga experience).

Meditation

Learn how to find peace and serenity without needing to empty your mind of thoughts completely. Tap into your inner wisdom and divine intelligence through the powerful mantra Hamsa-Soham (meaning “I am That”). Mediation is the sweet nectar (Soma) that everyone can benefit from.

Suitable for all levels (beginners and those with previous yoga experience).

Chair Yoga

This practice is to help those with limited mobility or injury. Discover a variety of postures that use the chair effectively to stretch and strengthen the body in a gentle way.

Suitable for all levels (beginners and those with previous yoga experience).

Pranayama

This is a calming practice using different breathing techniques. A great preparation for deep concentration and Meditation.

Suitable for all levels (beginners and those with previous yoga experience).
